Event to communicate women's health issues and femtec possibilities at different life stages

TOPPAN Edge Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Hideki Soeda, President; hereinafter TOPPAN Edge), a group company of TOPPAN Holdings, will hold the "Wataon (read: Water On) Festival 2025" (venue: TOPPAN Edge headquarters building, 1st floor multipurpose hall and entrance) will be held for the first time on Saturday, March 8, 2025, International Women's Day.
This event is held for general consumers, mainly women, to deepen their understanding of health issues and coping methods specific to women at different stages of life, such as work, marriage, and pregnancy, and to create opportunities for them to rethink their own unique way of life by incorporating FemTech (*1) into their daily lives. The event aims to provide an opportunity to rethink one's own life style by incorporating FemTech (*1) into daily life.
A total of 17 companies and organizations, including TOPPAN Edge, NTT Docomo, Asuka Pharmaceuticals, and Seiren, will introduce and exhibit FemTech FemCare (*2) products, etc., to convey the importance of obtaining correct knowledge about health issues unique to women and the potential of FemTech. In addition, a seminar and talk session will be held by Dr. Keiko Matsumura, a gynecologist (Director of Seijo Matsumura Clinic) and three female monitors of "My Temperature®" (*3), a healthcare IoT service provided by TOPPAN Edge.
Main Events
Exhibit of Femtec Femcare products and other products at the exhibition booth
A corner will be set up in the Entrance Hall where 17 companies and organizations will introduce their Femtec Femcare products and give presentations, and booths will be set up to display their products.
Seminars & Talks
A guest lecturer, Dr. Keiko Matsumura, a gynecologist, will give a mini seminar in the multipurpose hall on the theme of "A chance to find a new you". In addition, a talk session will be held between Dr. Matsumura and three female "Watashi no Temperature®" monitors. In the talk session, Dr. Matsumura will analyze the real temperature data obtained by "Watashi no Temperature®" in their daily lives and discuss the findings from the data and how they should spend their time in the future, under the theme of health issues according to the three life stages (work, marriage, and pregnancy) of each of the three female monitors. Dr. Matsumura will discuss the insights gained from the data and how we should spend our time in the future.

3 Health Care IoT Service "Watashi no Temperature®" (My Temperature®)
This is a healthcare IoT service that enables users to easily and hassle-free grasp temperature rhythms such as high/low temperature periods unique to women by measuring the temperature inside their clothes by wearing the device to bed with a special night bra provided by TOPPAN Edge. In addition to visualizing daily temperature rhythms, the service predicts menstruation and ovulation dates, predicts the likelihood of pregnancy, and displays advice according to the conditions of the day. By understanding women's unique temperature rhythms on a daily basis, the service can be used for daily physical and mental management as well as for fertility management.
