Kanagawa Prefecture has launched the "Preconception Care (hereinafter referred to as "preconception")" program, which is a program to help people correctly understand their bodies and future pregnancies from a young age, such as when they are in their teens, and to deal with their daily lives and health. In Kanagawa Prefecture, the "Preconception Care" program, which is aimed at helping women to properly understand their bodies and future pregnancy from a young age, such as teenagers, and to face their daily lives and health, will start with the use of message chat and video calls on the communication application LINE. By providing consultation on questions about one's sexuality and concerns about pregnancy, the program will lead to proper health management and consultations with obstetricians and gynecologists, etc.

1 Outline of implementation

At the preconception consultation, an obstetrician/gynecologist or midwife will be available to answer questions and address concerns about sex, pregnancy, and a variety of health care issues. The service is also available to those who are available for preconception counseling at schools and in the community.
