Cyan Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO Takahiro Iwai), a developer of new infrastructure to increase the number of characters in daily life, announces the life-size interaction system "CGATE-RA-1007B.
The project will mainly serve as a system for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children to create connections with society.
The life-size interaction system "CGATE-RA-1007B" consists of a large Re-board® screen (approximately 2m high and 3m wide) and an attached component box. The component box projects images of up to 4K resolution onto the screen using laser projection, providing a life-size interaction experience as if you were in the same space as the people on the screen.
The screen is lightweight and easy to disassemble and reassemble, making it possible to install large screens in situations where it has been difficult to do so in the past.
The use of Re-board® as a material provides a low-cost and environmentally friendly platform that could not be achieved with LCD LED screens. (*1)
After installation, users will be able to use the services of the isometric exchange, and in addition to content developed by the company, content developed by partner companies will be added to the lineup in the future. (*2)
The life-size interaction that Cyan advocates refers to interaction that can provide new encounters and value to the local community by utilizing a system that allows people to interact with each other by projecting near life-size images on a large screen and remotely experience life-size scenery, sports games, etc.
Upcoming Releases
More specific service lineups will be announced in late March.
Overview of Cyan Corporation
Established January 22, 2018.
In June of the same year, the company introduced the Aerodynamic Cars®(*3), focusing on "making the 'Can't Go' go" for the disabled and the elderly.
The following year, a medical VR aerodynamic vehicle was verified in the Kanagawa Prefecture's 2049 Robotics Symbiosis Promotion Plan.
Subsequently, we produced VR content for the elderly with dementia and interaction content to foster children's social skills. In order to solve the problems with the equipment experienced there, we proceeded with product development that could create equivalent experience value without the use of VR goggles, leading to the development of the CGATE-RA-1007B life-size interaction system. In the process of development, we have already verified the value of life-size interaction in various situations, such as multi-generational interaction at daycare centers and senior citizen facilities, and at motor sports spectator events.
Our mission at Cyanide is to "bring unexpected joy to everyone we touch.
We have been and will continue to bring joy to all through life-size exchanges.
We aim to grow our business by developing an isometric exchange system as the infrastructure for the next generation.
