- The following is content from the press release -

(Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President: Mie Kanai; hereinafter referred to as "ITS Communications"), as a company responsible for local social infrastructure, aims to realize prosperous local communities, and is committed to working toward the realization of a society in which families with children can live and work actively.

As a first step, from December 2023, we will conduct a demonstration experiment to watch over children using IoT devices.

This demonstration experiment will use IoT devices such as [door/window sensors] that can check the opening/closing of the front door, [IP cameras] that take pictures of the front door and interior and notify the user upon sensor response, [communication cameras] that support two-way communication with a built-in microphone and speakers, and an app for parents to check their children's travel routes, This project is to confirm the value of using IoT devices, such as GPS tags that set the child's favorite places and notify the arrival/departure to the guardian's smartphone, and to identify product development issues and the value of using them to address the issue of watching over children.

As the number of dual-earner households increases, people are returning to the office after-corona, and it is especially difficult for the child-rearing generation, who are busy with housework and work, to spend time with their families and secure time for themselves.

Through this demonstration experiment, we hope to provide value toward the realization of a society where people can live and work actively by providing a lifestyle where children can stay at home or go out alone with peace of mind, thereby creating a sense of relaxation in their minds and time.

In addition to watching over children and outings, Itzcom will promote advanced and warm initiatives as a company responsible for local infrastructure, such as MaaS*1 linkage for picking up and dropping off children at school and other places, and home and family monitoring by sensing indoor environment (humidity, temperature, CO2 concentration, etc.)*2. We will continue to promote advanced and warm initiatives as a company that plays a leading role in local infrastructure.
