summary
This product was developed with the purpose and desire of preventing "noon sleeping" accidents in daycare centers.
A non-contact (camera) monitors the child when he or she "sleeps on his or her side. A yellow LED light shines when the child's face turns to the side, and a red LED light shines when the child turns to the prone position to warn of danger. (It can also make a sound.)
One camera can monitor up to 6 people, and LED lamps can be installed in the nap room, staff room, or anywhere. (Directly linked to PC)
Background of Development
The biggest challenge was to improve the accuracy of judging the orientation of faces, but after repeated trial and error, the problem was finally solved with a method that maximizes the individuality of each preschool. The accuracy was improved by machine learning approximately 300,000 images for each daycare center.

BabyTech Editor's Comment.
This service aims to ease the burden on childcare providers to provide a safer naptime monitoring environment by monitoring with live cameras. The service is also very cost-effective, starting at 15,000 yen per month per camera for up to six people with one camera.
As with all machine learning systems, I am wondering what kind of user benefits will be realized when the accuracy is improved.
