The 350 children in 92 teams from classrooms in five countries around the world will compete in a mental arithmetic competition using the "Sorotouch" abacus-type mental arithmetic application!
Sorotouch students, who study the "Sorotouch" application at home every day and commute to school or online once a week, gather with their friends to deepen their learning, form teams for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, and compete in inter-class tournament matches. In addition to classrooms around Japan, 92 teams of 350 children from 5 countries (Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, and Hong Kong) will compete against each other on YouTube live at the same time! This year marks the fourth year of the "Soroshi FES" held by Digika, Inc. In the past, individual and team competitions were held on a single day, but due to the increasing number of participants each year, this year the event will be held over two days, with team competition in the spring and individual competition in the fall.
Children aged 5-12 form teams of 3-5 players in each classroom, log into the "Sorotouch" app on their home or classroom tablets, and play against opponents of different regions and ages, whom they meet online for the first time, in different levels.
Data received from "Sorotouch" will be tabulated by the classroom-only application "Sororoom," and the winning team will advance to the tournament round. Participation prizes for all participants and gold, silver, and bronze medals for the winning teams will be sent to the children's apps in real time. Three matches (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) will be simultaneously streamed live on YouTube. Please come and watch the children's heated competition!

What is Sokotouch?
Sorotouch" is a new method for learning abacus-type mental arithmetic using a tablet, which was developed to learn abacus-type mental arithmetic quickly, efficiently, and enjoyably. The ideal age to start learning is 5 to 8 years old, and if they work on "Sorotouch" every day, they can acquire abacus-type mental arithmetic skills that will be a lifelong asset in about 2 years. Students in our classrooms gather with their friends and improve their performance skills while having fun.
