Six classrooms will be open for trial sessions beginning Saturday, April 15, 2023 and one classroom will be open for trial sessions beginning Saturday, April 29, 2023.
We have experiences that can be enjoyed by children who are beginners in programming or who do not know how to program.
Seiha Network Corporation (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, CEO: Masami Sakabata, hereafter "Seiha Network") has concluded a franchise agreement with Yumemiru Corporation (Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, CEO: Akinori Shigemi) of the EDION Group for the "Robodan" programming school. Starting with the simultaneous opening of six school buildings in the spring of 2023 through a brand change from the "Piko Labo-kun" programming school operated by Seiha Network, we aim to open 10 Robodan schools nationwide by the end of FY2011.
With an emphasis on "making love into learning and connecting with society," Robodan provides an environment where students can acquire the skills they will need in society in the future, including logical thinking and communication skills, through its independently developed textbooks and curriculum and class content based on programming techniques that are found in our everyday surroundings. In addition, we are working with companies and organizations such as JAXA, Kinki Nippon Railway, and Epson to develop educational materials and other projects that will help children become more familiar with society and understand how the world works.
With the conclusion of the franchise agreement with Robodan, Seiha Network will offer lessons that expand the future options for more children through programming using robots, which was not part of the curriculum until now, and contribute to creating the future society that children dream of.
