Combi Corporation (Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Yasutsugu Matsuura), a manufacturer and distributor of baby products, will release "Suyakaze EA," a seat with a fan for strollers that delivers air from the bottom to the head, at baby goods stores and online stores nationwide from late March 2026.
Background】Heat protection needs increase when out with strollers during the extremely hot summer.
According to the "warm-weather forecast" issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency for the summer of 2026 (June-August), temperatures are expected to continue to be higher than normal nationwide this summer (*1).
Babies have immature thermoregulatory functions, making it difficult for them to regulate their own body temperature as well as adults. It is especially important for babies to be supported by their parents and guardians to manage their body temperature according to the temperature and environment until the age of two. In addition, infants have high density sweat glands and are said to sweat two to three times more than adults. Therefore, adequate heat protection is required when going out during hot weather.
In recent years, several seat-type products with airflow fans have been deployed in the market, and our research shows that one in four people own at least one of these products (*2). (*2) These products are gaining a certain level of popularity as heat-protection goods when going out with strollers.
On the other hand, there are some issues with existing products, such as the structure of the product, which is used by laying it on a stroller, which narrows the airflow path depending on the baby's weight, the many installation processes, and the complexity of maintenance.
The "SUYAKAZE EA" has a rotary duct that allows air to flow from the baby's bottom to the head, even when the seat is bent. We have also taken into consideration the ease of cleaning for daily use.

W-air duct structure" that delivers air from the hips to the tip of the head
The "W air duct structure" is designed to reduce heat that tends to accumulate under the baby's back and buttocks by drawing in outside air and distributing it to the inside of the seat. The rotating ducts ensure airflow even when the seat is folded and deliver air to the head. In addition, inside the mesh seat is a cushion with a three-dimensional fiber structure that provides excellent air permeability. This allows air to pass through easily and provides a comfortable sitting position.
In addition, an external testing institute reproduced a high-temperature summer environment and used dummy dolls to compare sheet surface temperatures when "SUYAKAZE EA" was used and when it was not used. As a result, thermograph measurements confirmed the effect of heat reduction when "SUYAKAZE EA" was used.
Easy maintenance with no tools required Machine washable
The fan portion can be easily removed with a fastener; no tools are required.
The sheet portion can be machine-washed in a net, making it easy to keep clean even when soiled with sweat.
