Eiwa System Management Corporation (headquartered in Toiyacho, Fukui City; Kenji Hiranabe, President) released "famet," an application that supports constructive family dialogue, on November 5, 2025, with the aim of solving the problem of poor communication in modern families.

What is "famet"?

Today, when children have smartphones in their hands as a matter of course, new challenges have arisen that have not been experienced by the parental generation. While dialogue between parents and children is essential for establishing rules for smartphones, trouble on social networking services, and educating children about Internet literacy, many parents are troubled because they do not know how to broach the subject.

Against this backdrop, the family meeting support application "famet" was developed. famet provides a concrete framework for dialogue for family members who tend to put things off because they don't know where to start.

Features of "famet

FAMEET supports constructive communication by turning family "hard to talk" into "easy to talk" with its AI and agenda templates specialized for family issues.

AI and Agenda Templates to eliminate confusion over "where to start".

We have prepared a number of agenda templates on topics that are of concern to many families, such as "Rules for using your phone," "What's troubling you about school life?" and many other topics that many families are facing. You can easily start a discussion.
If a template does not match, feel free to enter the unique concerns of each family, and the AI will organize the issues and automatically generate a preliminary agenda. No matter what the issue, we will powerfully support the first step of dialogue.

Navigator "Mi-Ton" naturally escorts the whole family to participate.

Once the discussion begins, the "Mi-Ton" navigator of the FAMEET will serve as the facilitator. Mi-Ton calls out each participant's name and encourages balanced comments, preventing the conversation from becoming one-sided. All family members can naturally participate in the discussion, creating a place with a high level of psychological safety.

Record what has been decided and use it for reflection

During discussions, notes and decisions can be smoothly recorded by voice. This allows you to focus on family interaction without interrupting the flow of conversation.

The recorded contents can be reviewed at any time. It is useful for reconfirming common understandings, such as "We all decided on this at that time," or for reviewing the situation proactively as it changes, such as "Is it safe as it is? It is also useful to review the contents of the record in a proactive manner as the situation changes.

Development Background

FAMEET" is a service created by our team "Saki no Koto", which solves social issues with ICT technology.

The impetus for the development of this program came from the real-life experience of one of the developers, who has an adolescent child. When her child became ill, her doctor advised her to "listen carefully to him at home," but the parent's worry and her own anxiety clashed, and the discussion did not turn out to be constructive.

We want to have a "facilitator" at home who can organize issues from a neutral standpoint and support discussions, just like in company meetings! This thought became the starting point for the launch of "famet," an application that supports family dialogues.
