Four colors to increase motivation and updated learning functions that can be enjoyed by older students

(Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Hidekuni Kuroda) will release a renewed model (model number: NST-YRK2) of the "Shukuji Motivation Pen," an IoT stationery product that is attached to a regular pencil to "visualize" daily efforts. The product will be available for pre-order from November 7, 2025, and will begin shipping in early December.
The "Shukui Motivation Pen" is a product developed to increase children's motivation to study by "visualizing" their daily efforts in conjunction with a smartphone application. An attachment with a sensor is attached to the pencil, and the "motivation power" accumulated in response to study efforts is captured and visualized in the smartphone application. By creating a virtuous cycle of "writing ⇔ praising," the product facilitates parent-child communication and encourages children to develop the habit of self-motivated study. since its launch in 2019, the product has mainly targeted parents and children in early to middle grades of elementary school, with cumulative shipments reaching 60,000 units (as of October 31, 2025).
In response to the requests we have received, we are now offering the device in four new colors and have added a "learning function" that can be enjoyed by upper elementary school students through an application update. In addition to the existing white, yellow, purple, and blue colors are now available.

Based on our own survey of "colors that motivate children," we have selected four new colors for the lineup. By selecting colors that match children's preferences, they will be more motivated to learn.

The "Digital Zukan Card" application, which previously supported only hiragana, now includes a new "Kanji Challenge" function that allows users to switch to kanji appropriate for their grade level. This adds a "learning function" that allows children in the upper grades of elementary school to continue to enjoy using the app. An application update is scheduled for early December.
(3) Environmentally friendly eco-packaging
The new package is approximately half the thickness of the previous product. The eco-compatible package reduces environmental impact.
