(Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka City) https://www.akachan.jp (headquartered in Kyoto, Japan; Shinji Sogo, President & CEO; hereinafter "Ad:INTE") will begin a new proof-of-concept (PoC) experiment in the retail media domain.
(DNP), which supports the construction of Akachanhonpo's retail media, will also cooperate in this PoC, which will start on November 14, 2025 (Friday) at the Akachanhonpo LaLaport TOKYO- BAY store (Funabashi, Chiba).
Through the use of AIICO, a sampling vending machine provided by ADINT, Akachan Honpo will create new product and service experience opportunities for the maternity and child-rearing segment of the market.

Background and Objectives
Under the corporate message of "Smile child-rearing. Under the corporate message of "Akachan Honpo," Akachan Honpo aims to be a "comprehensive child-rearing support company" that accompanies customers in their child-rearing activities through products, things, experiences, and places.
This initiative is launched with the aim of evolving our desire to "support families during maternity and child-rearing" into a retail media policy with greater experiential value together with ad-intent.
The sampling vending machine "Child-rearing Support Sampling Box" installed in stores will be used to provide Akachanhonpo App members with a casual experience to try products useful during maternity and child-rearing periods.
Through free sampling, we would like to create a flow of "getting to know, experiencing, and buying" better products for our customers, making their daily lives and child-rearing a little easier and more enjoyable. Furthermore, we will analyze post-distribution purchase data and member behavior data to visualize the voices and needs of mothers and fathers and provide support.
Ad:INT supports the improvement of measures and optimization of sales promotions by verifying the effectiveness of sampling measures and analyzing post-distribution purchase data, utilizing technology and analytical know-how cultivated in the retail media business. DNP, which supports the construction of Akachanhonpo's retail media, will participate in this PoC and provide operational support.

Future Development
Based on the findings from this PoC, we will consider store development at Akachan Honpo.
We will continue to upgrade our retail media model by integrating purchasing and advertising data, and provide more accurate product experiences and services to customers in the maternity and child-rearing periods.
The retail media that Akachan Honpo is aiming for is more than just a new source of revenue.
Therein lies our desire to be a "company that supports child-rearing.
