The new function allows users to make event reservations directly from the application.

A new function that allows local governments and companies to send information directly to households raising children

Until now, "iiba" has published more than 100,000 "good to go" spots nationwide, mainly based on word-of-mouth postings by households raising children.

With the newly released "event posting function," local governments and companies can now post their own event and spot information and deliver it directly to child-rearing households on the app.

It can be used as a tool for sending out information and attracting customers with a clear target audience, such as for local childcare support events, hands-on projects for parents and children, and introductions to family-oriented stores and facilities.

Users can even complete event reservations within the app.

In addition, the newly added "event reservation function" allows users to book events of interest to them directly within the app.

Event availability can also be checked from the app, and information after registration can be checked at any time on My Page.

This will allow users to complete the entire process of "find, apply, and participate" in a one-stop service, greatly improving convenience for households raising children.

For organizers, it can also be used as a mechanism to centrally manage participation information.

Results of the "Kids' Work Experience" program in Kyoto Prefecture

This new functionality is also used in the "Kids' Work Experience" event conducted by Kyoto Prefecture.

Most of the reservation slots were filled in just two days from the start of reservations on October 8, 2025, attracting attention as a new mechanism to connect the community and child-rearing households.

Development Background

In recent years, local governments and companies across Japan have been actively implementing events and childcare support programs for parents and children.

In reality, however, we heard many problems such as "information does not reach households raising children" and "we don't know where to send the information so that it will be seen.

On the other hand, many of iiba's users, households raising children, commented that they would like to know what events are available in the community and would be happy if the application could be used to make reservations.

In order to bridge the gap between those who want to communicate and those who want to know, iiba has developed an "event posting function" that allows local governments and companies to register information directly, and an "event reservation function" that allows users to make reservations within the application. The "event reservation function" has been developed to bridge the gap between "those who want to communicate" and "those who want to know about events.

The release of this new function is intended to enhance both the convenience of outings for households with children and the ability of local governments and companies to communicate their activities.

Developer Comments

Through the operation of iiba's services, we realized that support and "good places" for families raising children do not exist but are not known.

We have developed this project in the hope that the events and projects that many people are operating with their hearts and minds will reach households raising children and, as a result, help reduce the sense of loneliness felt by households raising children.

We are pursuing a UX that allows users to complete everything from discovery to booking in a one-stop shop within the iiba app.

We believe this brings us one step closer to a world where households raising children spend less time "searching for information they want to know" and more time happily spending time with their children.

Thank you to everyone who has been using our application. We will continue to improve our services.
