(Head Office: Moriguchi City, Osaka; President and CEO: Issei Tadanobu; hereinafter "Panasonic Energy") has developed a coin-type lithium battery with denatonium benzoate, a bitter substance, applied to the negative electrode of the battery body to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion of the battery by infants and toddlers, and has extended the recommended use period of the battery to 10 years*1 from the previous 5 years. In addition, we have developed a coin-type lithium battery with a recommended life of 10 years (*1), up from the previous 5 years. Three new products, CR2032E, CR2025E, and CR2016E, have been added to the product lineup, and will be released on October 10, 2025.
