~The company will work with "MCHMo" and financial institutions to improve financial literacy and support the opening of bank accounts for children.
- The following is content from the press release -
(hereinafter referred to as "MTI") has launched a financial portal site that aims to provide solutions to the financial problems of households raising children, and will begin providing the site on a trial basis in August of this year.
As the first initiative, we will provide content on the financial portal site that enables users to learn basic financial knowledge and household budget management, in collaboration with "Maternal and Child Mo "*1, a mother-child handbook application provided by our group company, Maternal and Child Mo, Inc. In addition, in collaboration with financial institutions, "Maternal and Child Mo" will support the opening of bank accounts for children. Through these efforts, the program aims to improve financial literacy among parents and encourage them to face the financial challenges of raising children. During the demonstration period, we will verify changes in parents' financial awareness and behavior through this initiative.

MTI, which has been promoting financial DX, launches a portal site to help resolve the financial concerns of households raising children.
In today's society, life and finance are closely related, and financial literacy is considered one of the most important life skills. In order for each citizen to realize a more independent, secure, and prosperous life, the importance of financial literacy is increasing, as indicated by the Financial Services Agency's "Minimum Financial Literacy Requirements" for different age groups, from early elementary school students to the elderly. 2 The acquisition and improvement of financial literacy is a topic of particular interest to households raising children, whose household budget management tends to be complicated by educational, childcare, and medical expenses, as well as asset building for the future.
MCHC has a proven track record of promoting DX and reforming the business models of numerous financial institutions by leveraging its experience and expertise in developing in-house content. In addition, through the development and operation of the "Maternal and Child Health Handbook" application by our group company, MCHMO, we have been promoting DX in child-rearing related businesses in order to reduce the "anxiety and burden" of parents and to create a "safe and convenient" society for child-rearing. We have been aiming for a "safe and easy" child-rearing society by reducing the "anxiety and burden" of parents.
Against this backdrop, we are launching a new financial portal site that aims to solve the financial concerns of child-rearing households by leveraging our expertise in finance and child-rearing services.
Strong support for child-rearing households through the "Maternal and Child Health Handbook" application "Maternal and Child Mo" and cooperation with financial institutions!
As the first measure of this initiative, we will provide content on our financial portal site that enables users to learn about basic financial knowledge and household budget management in collaboration with the "Maternity Mo" application for mother-child handbooks. By using "MCHMo" as a gateway, parents will be able to easily access information on money and asset management necessary for child rearing from before birth to infancy, which is expected to improve financial literacy and reduce money worries related to child rearing.
Furthermore, through "Maternal and Child Mo", we will provide support for opening bank accounts for children in cooperation with financial institutions. According to a survey*3 conducted by our company, approximately 60% of parents with children have opened bank accounts for their children to manage the funds necessary for child-rearing and to save for the future. In addition, more than 80% of the parents who indicated that they do not currently have a children's account indicated that they plan to open one in the future, suggesting that opening a children's account can be a gateway to fund management for households raising children. By providing support for opening an account through "MCHMo," which is used by many parents to manage their children's health and record their growth, we support the creation of an environment in which household financial management and lifestyle planning are more accessible and easier to implement at home.
