With the vision of "Making the world more convenient with robotics," YUKAI KOGAKU CO. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Shunsuke Aoki), a company that plans and develops numerous communication robots and IoT products under the vision of "Making the world more yukai through robotics," will release a small robot specialized for cooling hot food and drinks, "Nekotongue Fu Fu Fu" (4,980 yen, including tax and shipping), at YUKAI KOGAKU It will go on sale at the online store on July 11, 2025 (Friday).
By setting this product so that it is gently nestled in a cup or dish, a small fan sends a gentle breeze to cool the food or beverage. The product is available in three colors: milk, cherry blossom, and chocolate.
The 45-day crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, Kibidango, and GREEN FUNDING, which was conducted prior to the general release of the product, has ended with a total support amount of 22,965,839 yen, or 2142% of the target amount.
The project has attracted attention not only from Japan but also from around the world, and the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for overseas residents reached 100% of its goal in just 30 minutes after its launch. In the final total support amount, the ratio of overseas support accounted for approximately 70% of the total.
In the end, a total of 2,574 people supported the project across the three platforms, making it the largest number of supporters Yucai Engineering has ever had in its crowdfunding history. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who supported us.
