The overseas development project of the ICT teaching material "Tenjin" has been officially adopted by the "EDU-Port Nippon Support Project" led by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

- The following is content from the press release -

(Head office: Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture; President: Yoshiaki Kurosawa), a developer and provider of ICT educational materials "Tenjin," is pleased to announce that its "Overseas Development of Japanese-Style Preschool Education Using ICT Educational Materials" project has been selected for the "FY2025 EDU-Port Nippon Support Project" promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in cooperation with the public and private sectors.
In adopting the project this time, the company was highly evaluated for its past introduction achievements in Japan and overseas and for the feasibility of the project based on these achievements.

What is EDU-Port Nippon, an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology?

EDU-Port Nippon is a public-private collaborative platform led by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to promote the overseas development of Japan's excellent educational content and systems through public-private partnerships. Projects selected through public solicitation will receive consulting services from MEXT and its secretariat, as well as support from overseas diplomatic missions, to promote overseas development through an "all-Japan" system.

Adopted Project "Overseas Development of Japanese-Style Preschool Education Using ICT Intellectual Education Materials

The purpose of this project is to deliver the know-how we have accumulated over the past 30 years in the ICT teaching materials "Tenjin", especially the infant version (intellectual education/nurturing brain software) that fosters the five systems of "knowledge, quantity, language, memory, and thought", to early childhood education sites around the world.

The foundation for this adoption is the overwhelming track record we have accumulated in Japan and abroad.
In Japan, we provide "talent-oriented" learning that respects the interests and individuality of each child, based on the concept of "the home as a preschool classroom. The uniqueness of this approach has been highly acclaimed, winning the Grand Prix at the e-Learning Awards and being featured in TV Tokyo's economic documentary program "Gaia no Yoake" (Dawn of Gaia), among other accolades.

This highly acclaimed "Japanese-style intellectual education" in Japan has already crossed oceans, and as of June 2025, it is being used in households in 33 countries around the world.

In this project, we will further develop these achievements by first collaborating with a licensed kindergarten in Australia to implement Japanese-style preschool education for children with Japanese roots, utilizing ICT-based educational materials in Japanese. We will improve the materials and curriculum by reflecting real feedback from the local community, and in the future, we aim to develop an English version and extend the program to children who do not have roots in Japan.

Highly rated points (excerpts from reasons for adoption)

The EDU-Port Nippon Support Project and Research Review Committee highly evaluated the following points

The applicant was selected based on its track record in Japan and overseas, and the fact that it is expected to steadily implement the use of ICT educational materials in local licensed preschools."
