The STEAM Childcare Study Group, which has adopted STEAM childcare, a STEAM education specialized for infants and toddlers, and developed childcare practices, will publish its first book, "Mirai e Tsunagu STEAM Childcare" on May 27, 2025 (Tuesday) from Kodansha. To celebrate the publication of this book, a seminar to commemorate the publication will be held at Bunkyo Gakuin University (Hongo Campus) on Saturday, June 14.
Background
The STEAM Childcare Study Group aims to provide and promote STEAM childcare so that children can enjoy their future and create their own future for themselves by practicing childcare that fosters creativity and inquisitiveness in children. Through this event, we hope to broaden the community of nursery schools, kindergartens, and children's schools, as well as other educational institutions and families, by making them aware of STEAM childcare.

The event will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions, offering valuable learning opportunities from a variety of guests, including Professor Yasufumi Kawamura, a leading expert in STEAM education and chairman of the STEAM Childcare Research Association (University of the Pacific Rim and International Institute for Science Education, School of Next Generation Education).
