At this event, three mom leaders active on the front lines of their respective industries will take the stage to share their real-life experiences in balancing childcare and careers. They will share their life-size experiences, including their daily efforts and the obstacles they have overcome, as well as exchange with other participants and parent-child sessions. Childcare space will be provided at the venue, and participants are welcome to bring their small children. This is a valuable opportunity for everyone from women who are struggling with their careers to those who want to take the next step in their careers to gain concrete tips and new connections that can be put into practice starting tomorrow. Background
Today's women struggle daily to balance their careers and families while striving to grow in society. In particular, the presence of women who are active as business leaders, such as executives and managers, is increasing every year.
On the other hand, the ratio of female managers in Japan remains at 12.71 TP6T (according to a FY2023 survey by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare), far short of the 301 TP6T target set by the government. Balancing work with childbirth and childrearing has become a major challenge, especially for women in their 30s and beyond who wish to continue their careers.
MaMa Crew" provides a "co-creation space" where these women can connect, support each other, and get hints for their careers. We place importance on creating an environment where those who feel uncomfortable participating in such social gatherings because of their children can feel comfortable taking the first step. Through the real voices of the speakers, we hope that this event will provide an opportunity for each participant to discover the possibilities of a "career that is uniquely his or her own.
Free catering service will also be provided on the day of the event, allowing participants to enjoy socializing in a relaxed atmosphere.
