Conversations with those close to them are the primary means of gathering information, indicating that social networking sites also have a certain degree of influence.
We then asked, "To what extent do you have fellow mothers with whom you can easily talk about balancing work and child rearing?" The question was then asked, "How many of your mother friends do you feel comfortable talking to about balancing work and child rearing?'I have two or three (43.8%)'The largest number of respondents answered, "None at all (no fellow mothers with whom they can feel free to consult) (24.2%)" and "Only one (15.0%).It continued.
About one in four respondents said they had no friends at all with whom they could consult, highlighting the current situation of isolation among working mothers.

(Multiple answers allowed)",'I am not good at socializing (47.0%)'The largest number of respondents answered "yes" to this question,'Lack of opportunities to meet people (43.0%)' and 'Lack of time to socialize (30.5%)'It continued.
It was suggested that the isolation of working mothers is not merely related to environmental factors, but also to individual personalities.
Structural problems such as time constraints and lack of meeting opportunities also seem to be factors.
When asked, "If there was a community where you could interact with other mothers about balancing work and child rearing, would you be interested in participating?" The question was asked,'Would definitely like to participate (12.7%)'or'Would rather participate (33.1%)'I responded.
About half of working mothers expressed a positive attitude toward participating in communities related to balancing work and child rearing, suggesting a high potential need for such a support network.

Furthermore, those who answered 'Yes' to the previous question were asked, "Why did you gather information and not join a community of other working mothers? (Multiple answers allowed)",'I was inundated with information and could not choose my community (39.4%)'The largest number of respondents answered "yes" to this question,It took me a long time to find the information I needed and I gave up halfway through (35.2%)," "I couldn't decide if the community was right for me (29.1%)," and "It was difficult to understand the flow and structure of participation (28.2%).It continued.
Many of the working, while interested in participating in the community, indicate that there are many barriers to actual participation, including information overload, lack of time, difficulty in determining suitability, and the complexity of the participation process.

When asked, "If there was a community for working moms that provided an environment in which you could easily participate, would you be interested in joining?" About 90% of the respondents answered "Yes" to this question.'Very willing to participate (22.2%)'or'Somewhat willing to participate (65.21 TP6T)'I responded.
It was shown that lowering the hurdle to participation significantly increases the number of people who express interest.
What kind of support is needed in a community of working mothers?

When asked, "What type of community would you be most likely to consider joining? (Multiple answers allowed)",'The method of participation is simple (45.4%)'The largest number of respondents answered "yes" to this question,'Easy to decide if it is right for me (42.7%)', 'Easy to find the information I need (33.7%)', 'Reliable information (32.4%)'It continued.
Working mothers indicated that what they look for in a community is ease of participation, compatibility with themselves, convenience of information, and reliability.
When asked, "What kind of information would you like to know about a community for working mothers? (Multiple answers allowed)",'Tips for shortening or streamlining household chores (42.5%)'The largest number of respondents answered "yes" to this question,Information on children's growth and development (42.3%), information on children's lessons and education (41.2%), and information on balancing work and child rearing (39.4%)It continued.
It is clear that working mothers need practical information on streamlining their daily lives, growing and educating their children, and balancing work and childcare.

Finally, when asked "For what purpose would you like to use the community? (multiple answers allowed)",'A place where I can talk casually about work and family problems (39.7%)'The largest number of respondents answered "yes" to this question,A place to interact with mothers in the same situation (37.0%), a place to obtain information about local child-rearing support and systems (32.6%), and a place to share specific child-rearing advice and experiences (31.1%).It continued.
It was shown that there is a high need for a place where people can not only gather information but also share their concerns with each other.
Summary: The top information working mothers want to get from the community is about shortening household chores and raising children! What kind of social interaction opportunities do working mothers seek?
The survey revealed how working mothers gather information about childcare and what kind of support they seek.
Friends/mom's friends and family/relatives were the main sources of information on child-rearing, with a certain percentage of respondents also gathering information from SNS and nursery school/kindergarten teachers.
On the other hand, about one in four mothers said they had "no friends at all" with whom they could easily consult, indicating that there is a certain segment of mothers who have few connections with other mothers.
Factors such as "not being good at socializing" and "lack of opportunities to meet people" are cited as reasons for the lack of connections among mothers, and the high hurdles to interaction are thought to be behind this.
About half of the respondents would like to participate in a community where they can interact with other mothers.
Many respondents who had gathered information in the past but did not actually participate in the community said that there was "too much information to choose from" and "I can't decide if it is right for me," indicating that the difficulty in selecting a community was a factor that prevented them from participating.
However, there was a significant increase in the number of positive responses regarding the intention to participate if an environment was created in which people could easily participate.
Mothers wanted to know about "shortening and streamlining housework," "children's growth and development," and "lessons and education," indicating a high need for practical information directly related to their daily lives.
The most popular answers for the purpose of using the community were "a place to talk casually about work and family problems" and "a place to interact with other mothers in the same situation.
Many are looking for a place to not only gather information, but also to be able to empathize with others.
In order to prevent working mothers from becoming isolated and to make it easier for them to receive the support they need, it can be said that an environment must be created where they can interact naturally while reducing the burden on mothers.
