The application, developed mainly by people involved in multiple births, is the world's first platform that consolidates in one place information and support that used to have to be searched individually, such as childcare records specifically for multiple births, information on outings, and consultation services in case of emergency.

Multiple births, such as twins and triplets, account for 11 TP6T of all births in Japan, or about 8,700 births per year, making them a "one-in-a-hundred miracle. However, according to a survey by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, approximately 70% of multiples are born with low birth weight and often require medical care, and the risk of abusive death in multiple birth families is 2.5 to 4.0 times that of single birth families, and the divorce rate is reported to be 1.5 to 2 times higher.
Ushijima, the president of our company, gave birth to twins in 2021. In addition to the physical burden of "simultaneous crying," "simultaneous breastfeeding," and "difficulty in moving around when going out," which are unique to raising multiples, she experienced a doubling or tripling of the financial burden. It also became clear that information specific to multiple births as a minority was difficult to find, and existing child-rearing know-how was often unavailable.
In November 2023, after fundraising through Fukuoka City's Furusato tax payment, the development of an application centered on parties involved in raising multiple children began. By reflecting the issues and needs that can be understood only by the parties involved, moms is able to provide functions and services that are truly necessary.

moms" was born as a place where people can celebrate the joy of being parents of twins or triplets and celebrate multiple births, valuing the value of being connected by the keyword "multiple births".
We aim to solve the situation where information and support necessary for raising multiples is scattered and difficult to find, and where there is a lack of "information," "connections," and "places" to connect with other families with multiples who share the same concerns.

In this pre-release, two functions will be provided: a "community function" to promote interaction and information sharing among moms and dads, and "Multiple 119," which allows immediate consultation with the support office in the area of residence.
