Service Overview
Words Tanken" is a learning app for preschoolers that allows them to expand their vocabulary while having fun. It is designed to be simple to use and safe for children to use on their own, and is a winner of the Babytech® awards 2024 for "BrainySprouts," an educational app for preschoolers that prepares children for elementary school entrance exams (https://www.brainysprouts.net/), which was developed based on feedback from users.
Development Background
The number of words children encounter in their daily lives is surprisingly limited. Especially in urban areas, there are fewer opportunities to come into contact with nature or encounter traditional Japanese things.
Kokeshi dolls", "kemari", "hishimochi", "tsukushi", "butterbur" - these words are not often used in daily conversation. We developed this program in response to parents who asked, "How can we increase their children's vocabulary in their busy daily lives?" This is the reason why we have developed this program.
In response to requests from bilingual families and families of international marriages who want their children to learn Japanese but are not perfect themselves, subtitles in English, Chinese, and Korean have also been added. Based on the three guiding principles of "fun, natural, and reliable," we support your child's vocabulary development.

- multilingual support Words are labeled with English, Chinese, and Korean subtitles. Diverse home environments can be accommodated.
- Designed with preschoolers in mind A simple interface that is easy to operate even for small hands. Even children who cannot read can proceed on their own with voice guidance.

Future Development
We plan to add new categories of flashcards and expand the learning history feature. In addition, we would like to make the audio available in multiple languages.
We will continue to make improvements based on user feedback and evolve the application to make it easier and more enjoyable to use. Currently only an iOS version is available, but we plan to develop an Android version as well.
In addition, we plan to develop other categories of flash card applications as part of the flash card series.
