Hideaki Mohri, President of Meta Osaka comments

Hideaki Mohri, Representative Director, Meta Osaka

We feel a great sense of expectation and responsibility to be able to hold the "Kodomo Expo" on the last weekend of the Osaka-Kansai Expo. We wanted to take this special opportunity to create unprecedented value by teaming up with Mama Sora, who is involved in the community-based work experience event "Mirai no Takarabako," and Kids Star, who has developed the social experience app "Gokko Land," which has been downloaded more than 7 million times. In addition to the main contents of Kodomo Expo, such as the Dream Speech Contest and the Children's Fair, we will provide a variety of work experience programs that leverage the knowledge of both companies to deliver richer experiences and possibilities to children.

Mari Tezuka, Chairperson of the Children's Expo Organizing Committee

The Children's Expo is a hub of "For the Children! and it is a place where children themselves give shape to their dreams and adults do their utmost to support them. We hope to create opportunities for children to expand their future possibilities through discoveries and encounters with people they would not encounter in everyday life. In particular, we place importance on creating a place where children can experience the joy of thinking and acting for themselves in order to nurture the independence that is required of children in Japan today. We hope that this program will be used as a place where as many children as possible can experience the fun of being proactively involved, nurture their zest for life, and create achievements toward the "realization of a society where people can be excited about their future selves.

Mirai no Takarabako Executive Committee Chairperson (Mama Sora COO) Rei Mitani

Mirai no Takarabako aims to realize a society of "wellbeing through regional co-creation," and offers work experiences where children can learn directly from professionals in a variety of industries that Japan is proud of. We hope that the chemical reactions generated by the co-creation of these three companies, which have always been involved in activities to bring dreams and hopes to children, will create a place where the experience will become a shining memory for children and all those involved, just as people who saw the Expo in the past longed to see the future and envisioned it. We sincerely hope that the Expo will be a catalyst for connections and thoughts that will spread like ripples, transcend the Expo, and grow into the future.

Comments by Einori Kinjo, Director, Kids Star

Director, Kids Star Naganori Kinjo

Based on our mission of "fostering and supporting children's enthusiasm," we aim to create a world where anyone, anytime, anywhere can enjoy learning about social systems and industries, without regional or economic disparities, through our social experience application "Gokko Land. This time, we have created a realistic worldview that expresses this worldview. This time, a real event "Gokko Land EXPO" expressing this worldview will be held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo through "Child Creation". We hope that children will learn about the social roles of companies and feel the wonder of working by experiencing high-quality workshops supervised by leading companies in various industries. For parents, we hope to create a place where they can watch and support their children as they engage enthusiastically in the workshops.
