(Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka City) https://www.akachan.jp(Akachan Honpo) has installed a vending machine in the "Kids Room" on the first floor of the hospital of "OB/GYN Sugawara Hospital" (Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture) from November 13, 2024 (Wednesday), where maternity and baby products handled by Akachan Honpo are available for purchase. This is the first time this initiative has been undertaken in the Kanto region.
Background of Initiatives
The "Obstetrics and Gynecology Sugawara Hospital" is located in Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture, with 50 sickbeds and more than 1,500 deliveries per year. As a hospital responsible for women's health, we always keep in mind the three "S's" of safety, sincerity, and sanitary, and contribute to obstetric care in the community, mainly in Koshigaya City.
We have installed an Akachan Honpo vending machine to provide an environment where maternity and baby products necessary during the hospitalization period from before the birth to discharge can be purchased at any time.
Akachan Honpo will continue to promote various initiatives to support "life with a baby".
Examples of products we handle
Based on the opinions of the "Obstetrics and Gynecology Sugawara Hospital" and the sales performance of existing Akachan Honpo stores, we have prepared 21 types of products (as of December 2024) that are highly demanded during hospitalization and appreciated by many patients.
These products can be purchased 24 hours a day from vending machines located in the "Kids' Room" on the first floor.
