Patchwork Quilt Co., Ltd. is a new business demonstration company of Household Products Group Inc. and has started the second business demonstration of "TASMY", a project born out of the GRIT program. In October 2024, we will introduce specialized fixtures for unattended sales, increase the number of TASMY preschools with the new sales model, and expand the scope of the business demonstration to the whole country.
1. "Tasmy's," a dinner for busy parents
Tasmy" is a business that allows children and adults to order the amount of side dishes they need to be able to satisfy their kids and adults alike at the daycare centers' unmanned sales kiosks.If you have to work late and don't have time or energy to cook dinner, you can pick up whatever you want to eat while you pick up your child from daycare without having to stop at the supermarket or store.
Provide "one serving for adults and one serving for children" in a microwavable retort pouch.The menu is prepared in the microwave so that you can heat it up in the microwave for just over 1 minute* after you get home and it will be ready for your dinner right away. This is a great way to spend dinner time with your family over a nutritious and well-balanced meal that your kids will love.

When his wife was pregnant with his second child, he was a one-man operation for 120 days. He was so busy with work, childcare, and housework that when he picked up his eldest son from his sister's nursery school, he asked the director to sell meals for the nursery school, but found it difficult from the standpoint of hygiene. From this experience,The project was conceived in April 2020 using the "GRIT" program of the House Foods Group, with the aim of contributing to society by solving the problems of families with children and changing the future.
TASMY" means "+me" (to give me access to the wireless network) and "TASMY" means "to help" hard-working fathers and fathers.Our mission is to "make room for busy mothers and fathers and to increase the warm time parents and children spend together, even if only a little".
2. "TASMY" received a great response after its launch, and the number of nursery schools that have signed up has been expanded in response to numerous requests.
In April 2023, "TASMY" started a demonstration project using automatic vending machines (outside vending machines installed outside daycare centers) for 10 preschools in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Since its launch, the project has been well received by the public and has become a hot topic on social networking sites,Some nurseries achieved sales more than twice the initial target in the first three months.From parents who have used the program,It is very difficult to go to the supermarket with my children after picking them up from daycare. My daughter is eating all of her parents' food because she says it's so delicious. It's rare that they eat this much, but it's nice to be able to buy delicious food on a budget.and others.
At the time of its launch, we received requests for Tasmy from nursery schools all over Japan, but we were unable to meet their requests due to a lack of sufficient product stock at the time. However, we did not have enough product in stock at the time and were unable to meet their requests,Provide in-school vending using non-profit fixtures that are easier to maintain and handle than vending machines and less of a burden on the childcare provider.(The switch to a new system (whereby nursery schools purchase products and sell them inside the school) has led to an increase in the number of nursery schools using the system (vending machine sales outside the school will cease at the end of September, 2024).

Establish dedicated no-show sales fixtures/e-commerce site
In consideration of the burden on nursery schools, we lend out free of charge the unattended sales fixtures. We have adopted a shape that is easy to install in any location, such as at the entrance of a nursery school or at the counter of an office room.
In addition, an EC site dedicated to ordering and documentation will be opened to facilitate the ordering and management of products.

(1) Free rental of free standing fixtures (choose from several patterns depending on layout)

The TASMY system can be easily installed by replenishing and displaying the received products on the unattended sales fixtures.
Aiming for a business that "makes both parents and day-care center happy
TASMY" has been verified by receiving feedback from parents and daycare centers. Based on this model change, we will aim to grow as a business that "makes parents and day-care centers happy" by communicating with day-care facilities in various locations and with various characteristics, with the goal of "100 preschools" in this fiscal year.

About "Patchwork Quilt Co.
The company was established to verify the value of the businesses created through GRIT, an open competition program in which employees of the House Foods Group take on the challenge of creating new businesses on their own.
