The "Childcare Expo 2024" (Secretariat: Messe Frankfurt Japan K.K.; President: Yasushi Kajiwara) will be held for the sixth time on November 21-22, 2024 (Thursday-Friday) at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Hamamatsucho Kan. This trade fair, which is used to solve issues faced by the increasingly diverse nursery schools, kindergartens, and childcare centers, provides a venue where visitors can examine products and services for preschool children all at once, and also offers opportunities to acquire new knowledge and information through seminars and workshops for preschool directors and childcare providers. In the previous edition in 2023, 182 exhibitors welcomed 3,588 visitors, and this year, as of September, approximately 170 exhibitors have been confirmed.

In addition to introducing products and services such as learning materials, playground equipment and toys, disaster and crime prevention measures, health and hygiene products, and furniture, the exhibition area also has newly established zones specializing in "ICT" and "nutrition education," both of which are attracting attention in the childcare industry. The ICT zone will also feature mini-presentations on solutions to compensate for labor shortages, such as attendance management and parental communication systems. In the Nutrition Education Zone, visitors can examine meal delivery and meal service, emergency rations and stockpiled food, and more, with tastings and samples.

The "Job Seeking Area," also a first, will provide a new platform for connecting job seekers and companies, including career path consultation and recruiting for childcare professionals. Also on display will be the "BabyTech Award 2024," a contest to honor outstanding childcare IT products and childcare appliances, and the "Tokyo Toy Museum in Childcare Expo," a hands-on museum promoting wood education.

16 special seminars by the organizers and 7 training/workshops will be held in conjunction with the event.

In the "Organizer's Special Seminar" featuring university professors and other lecturers, a "Management Seminar" for directors and managers and an "Educational Seminar" for childcare providers will be held at the same time at the venue. There will also be "training and workshops" to acquire skills and knowledge, and "exchange meetings" with childcare-related influencers. All are free to attend, and a "certificate of completion" can be issued upon request. Advance reservations are required for training and workshops through the official website.
