The event will be held on July 13, 2024 (Saturday) at SHIBUYA QWS (hereafter, QWS) on the 15th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square.

Nobuo Komiya, professor at Rissho University and a leading criminologist and creator of the "Community Safety Map," which has been introduced in 90% of elementary schools nationwide, and Naoto Tomita, CEO of Adora Corporation, which operates the smartphone app "Kodomamo" to protect children using AI, will be speaking at the event. In addition to the dangers that are currently occurring around children and how to counter them, both speakers will also hold a corner where they will answer participants' questions.

SOLIA Corporation, which develops the domestic organic skincare brand "ALOBABY," and Lotte Ventures Japan Corporation, an investment company that stands by entrepreneurs who value the customer's point of view with "love," will sponsor the event and offer special benefits for parents and children who visit the event.

This event is designed to encourage interactive communication between attendees and experts, with the aim of helping parents and children learn about and have a safe and enjoyable summer vacation before the summer vacations. We will be inviting you and your children to join us at the venue. We look forward to seeing you at the event.

Background and outline of the event

Summer vacation is a long-awaited and fun time for children. While there are many opportunities for children to have unusual experiences such as going on trips, playing with friends, and meeting relatives, many parents may be concerned that their children may get into trouble such as accidents or incidents in places where they cannot be seen by their parents.

In recent years, there has also been an increase in the number of incidents in which children connect with strangers and get into trouble while watching videos or playing games on their smartphones. In particular, since children spend more time on their smartphones during summer vacation, the Child and Family Agency has also issued a warning against crimes involving children during summer vacation.

Therefore, to ensure that children have a safe and enjoyable summer vacation, we will hold a crime prevention seminar, free of charge, taught by experts who are working on the front lines of the "current" dangers surrounding children and countermeasures, to prepare for crime prevention well before summer vacation begins.

Preschool children are welcome to attend the event with their parents so that as many people as possible can attend. The event will also be streamed live online, so those who cannot make it to the venue can watch from the comfort of their own homes or from anywhere else they like.

This is an opportunity to learn about child crime prevention directly from experts.

What is "SASENAI PROJECT"?

Our society has many challenges that need to be improved. One of the most important responsibilities for all of us is to protect and nurture an environment where children can spend their days safely and with a smile. Even if we are not directly involved in services or business with children, all economic activities are connected to the world in which they spend their time.

The SASENAI PROJECT declares that the companies, organizations, and brands participating in the project are not limited to any particular industry or domain, but that everyone is part of the community surrounding children and is committed to building an ecosystem in which children can stay safe.

Vision of SASENAI PROJECT

The vision of the SASENAI PROJECT is to create a society where children feel safe and secure and can spend their days with a smile on their faces by bringing together companies and others involved in the society where children spend their time.

Participating companies and organizations, regardless of industry or area, will join hands and cooperate with each other to ensure a bright future for children in society as a whole.

SASENAI PROJECT Activities

  • Introducing the efforts of participating companies and brands to bring smiles to children's faces
  • Organizing workshops and events
  • Dissemination of information on child rearing and child safety, etc.

We are committed to providing advanced solutions to protect children from the dangers they face so that they can live each day with peace of mind.

VxTech has been conducting the SASENAI PROJECT, a progressive initiative aimed at creating a society where children can spend their days with a smile on their faces, based on the concept that "when children smile, their parents smile, and surely the whole world will smile, too.
