Last year, the term "global boiling" was nominated for the most popular word of the year, and this year the heat has already exceeded that even more. 25,340 people were transported for heat stroke nationwide by the second week of July, an increase of 4,000 people compared to the same period last year.note 1 While it has been pointed out that 40% of heat stroke cases occur at night, the number of tropical nights with temperatures of 25°C or higher is also increasing, and this year the media has been particularly calling for attention to nighttime heat stroke. According to a survey conducted by Daikin Industries, Ltd., about 70% of the respondents, 69.21 TP6T, answered that they have felt "physical discomfort" when sleeping or waking up on tropical nights, and nearly half of the respondents felt "fatigue" 45.71 TP6T. The data also showed that about 80% of the respondents use air conditioners when sleeping on tropical nights, and the results were divided into two groups: those who leave the air conditioner on and those who run it on an off-timer. In recent years, "leaving the air conditioner on" until morning is recommended to reduce the risk of heat stroke during sleep on tropical nights. On days with high temperatures and humidity, leaving the air conditioner on until morning is said to be more effective in preventing heat stroke and ensuring a comfortable night's sleep than using it on the off timer.*2In light of this, Nature proposes the following heat stroke countermeasures.
Nature Corporation, whose mission is to "drive symbiosis with nature," will launch this summer its newest smart remote control, Nature Remo Lapis (July 5, 2024), which can be used immediately as long as you have a smartphone,It supports room temperature and humidity control while automatically proposing power-saving measures.*3

Automation" functionality keeps you comfortable until the morning.
The device is equipped with a temperature/humidity sensor, which can trigger the temperature and humidity to automatically turn the air conditioner on and off and switch between cooling and dehumidification operations.
For example, turn on the air conditioner when the room temperature rises above 28 °C (82 °F).
When humidity exceeds 60%, switch to dehumidification operation.
Turn off the air conditioner when the temperature drops below 26°C.
The smart remote control automatically adjusts the temperature, so that even those who are uncomfortable leaving the lights on can stay comfortable until morning.
*Automation functions are also available for "Nature Remo 3" and "Nature Remo mini 2".
*Humidity sensor is equipped only in "Nature Remo 3" and "Nature Remo Lapis

This is truly a function that automatically saves electricity while maintaining comfort.
What is a Smart Remote Control?
An advanced remote control that allows home appliances to be operated with a smartphone. Any home appliance equipped with an infrared remote control can be linked regardless of manufacturer, model number, or year, and automatic control using sensors is also possible. Since it is possible to operate the remote control from outside, it can prevent forgetting to turn off the lights, and it can also automatically turn off the lights according to the room temperature, thus saving electricity.
