Improves children's English language skills through a game-like method of learning to speak fluent English sentences

Enuma Japan, LLC (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Executive Director: Suyin Lee) announces the addition of a new feature, "Read Aloud (Ondoku)," in its English app "Todo Eigo" for 3-9 year olds, in which AI evaluates children's reading aloud of English sentences. In addition, a campaign will be held to commemorate the addition of the new feature.
When a child reads a digital English picture book, the AI listens to his or her voice and judges pronunciation accuracy. After each page is read, the character praises the child with a smile, allowing the child to enjoy reading aloud with the character.
Read Aloud offers 24 English-language picture books in five levels of difficulty. The books range in difficulty from the level of first exposure to picture books to the Lexile(R) index of 325L.
In addition, we adjust the criteria for judging pronunciation according to the strengths and weaknesses of Japanese speakers. If a Japanese child's pronunciation is judged harshly according to global standards, this may discourage the child from practicing. By setting just the right standard, children can enjoy practicing. We aim to develop the habit of reading aloud through the practice of fluently speaking English sentences in a game-like atmosphere.
How to use Read Aloud:
You need to download the Todo English application. Of the 26 total Todo English levels (Levels A-Z), they appear from Level J.

What is Todo English?
Todo English is an intuitive and fun English learning application for children to acquire the four English skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing). It is easy to use, and children can learn by themselves as if they were playing a game. The latest EFL (English as a foreign language) curriculum was originally developed based on the curriculum taught to young children and elementary school students in the United States. Each day, students work on a daily course (10-15 minutes) and a game of their choice (5-15 minutes), aiming to make English learning a habit.
