(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hitito Date), provider of the nursing care DX service "OwlCare" and the childcare DX service "BabyMoni", has concluded a business matching agreement with The Higo Bank, Ltd. The two companies will work together to contribute to the local community in Kumamoto Prefecture.
Background and Objectives
Needless to say, "care" services such as medical care, nursing care, and childcare are indispensable services in local communities. On the other hand, the working environment for essential workers, who are the bearers of these services, is not favorable, and a shortage of workers is a major challenge. The business situation is also extremely difficult, with the number of bankruptcies of nursing care facilities set to reach a record high in 2021.
We have been developing and marketing "OwlCare," a DX service for nursing care facilities in the nursing care field, and "BabyMoni," a noon-sleep monitoring system for childcare facilities in the childcare field, with the aim of solving these social issues with the power of health tech, which requires both "quantity" and "quality. The company has also developed and sold "OwlCare," a DX service for nursing care facilities, and "BabyMoni," a napping monitoring system for childcare facilities.
Through this agreement, we will seek to solve social issues by supporting essential workers in the community with the help of Higo Bank, which is working to evolve into a "Regional Value Co-Creation Group" by utilizing its vast network covering the entire Kumamoto Prefecture.
In addition to essential workers, we also aim to spread the effect to the entire community, including residents of nursing homes, children residing in childcare facilities, and their families.
About "OwlCare
This is a nursing care DX service that integrates various monitoring sensors and nurse calls that have been provided and introduced separately for each function. By utilizing AI such as camera images and behavior detection, the service provides optimal information to nursing staff and interactive communication with residents. This will contribute to solving issues in the nursing care industry, such as reducing workload, efficient staffing, and turnover rate.

This is a revolutionary camera-based nocturnal sleep monitoring system that utilizes AI technology. By installing a camera on the ceiling, the system detects the posture of multiple people and alerts the user when the child is in a prone position. In addition, an automatic recording function supports the work of checking for noon sleep and eliminates the need for daily management of equipment and paperwork, allowing childcare workers time to focus on the child.
