LifeLobo collaborates with Codomon, an ICT service provider for childcare and educational facilities

- The following is content from the press release -

(Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Akinobu Tanabe), a provider of "Shokurabo Kids," a school lunch management service for nursery schools and kindergartens, announces that it will collaborate with Codomon Co. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshinori Koike), which offers CoDMON, an ICT service for childcare and education facilities with the largest number of installations nationwide(*).

Background of Collaboration

Shokurabo Kids, operated by LIFE Lobo, is an ICT service specialized in school lunch management, including menu planning and nutritional calculations for nursery schools and kindergartens. The service provides AI support for menu planning and management by nutritionists and cooks, automatic calculation of nutritional intake rates and growth curves for preschool children, and automatic output of menu lists to be distributed to families and various audit documents to be submitted to local governments, among other functions designed to reduce the workload related to school lunch.
Codomon, operated by Codomon, is an ICT service that provides various types of support to teachers and parents working in childcare and educational facilities. The service provides functions such as smart recording of growth records and teaching plans linked to child information, management of arrival and departure from preschool, and communication with parents to help create an environment that enhances the quality of childcare while greatly reducing the workload of teachers. The system has been introduced in more than 16,000 facilities in 47 prefectures across Japan (*January 2024 survey by Tokyo Shoko Research, Inc.)
By linking the services of the two companies, it is expected that facility workers will realize a more user-friendly environment for ICT services and save time by abbreviating their work.

Specific functional linkages and future

  • Eliminates the work involved in menu entry by linking the menu functions of both companies.
The menu output function of Shokurabo Kids and the menu delivery function of Codomon for communicating with families will be linked. This will enable Shokurabo Kids to output menus in a format suitable for Codomon's menu distribution, thereby eliminating the need for menu input on Codomon.
  • Promote greater functional collaboration between the two systems
In the future, we aim to further improve the operational convenience of facility personnel and the health and safety of children through improved data accuracy, with a view to strengthening collaboration in preschool child management.
