Wonderbox, a correspondence course offered by WonderPhi Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kei Kawashima) that allows students to enjoy learning STEAM education materials at home, has undergone a renewal and has established new courses according to the characteristics of each age group. To commemorate the renewal, a campaign will be held to give away a set of gorgeous toy teaching materials.

Wonder Box is a distance learning service that fosters thinking and creativity through STEAM materials in areas such as programming, science, and art. In the four years since its launch, the service has been well received by children and their parents as a service that uses new ideas and technologies to bring out an unparalleled intellectual excitement.

In recent years, the revision of the Courses of Study has placed a greater emphasis on inquiry-based learning, and an increasing number of municipalities and schools are engaging in STEAM education. In response to the growing need to incorporate STEAM education into home learning, "Wonder Box" has been renewed, with a curriculum designed with "the characteristics of each age group" in mind, so that each child can enjoy, feel, think, and absorb what is important at each stage of development at their own age. The curriculum has been designed with the "characteristics of each age group" in mind, and four new courses have been established.

Comment
There was a time when people were expected to do what they were told efficiently or to reproduce what they were told to do as they were told to do it, but now attention has shifted to the importance of deepening our thinking about the questions and doubts that arise from within us and creating ideas and tangible things from them.

Especially in childhood, it is very important not only to "study" to acquire "knowledge and skills" but also to have intellectually exciting experiences. By developing motivation and the ability to think, later learning with knowledge acquisition becomes many times more meaningful. In this renewal, we have set courses with an awareness of the "characteristics of each age group" that we have deepened our understanding of in our research classes, so that each child can enjoy, feel, think, and absorb what is important at each developmental stage of each age group.

Our team will continue to move forward, excited that the children who grow up using our materials will create a wonderful future that exceeds our adult imagination.
