Hikari Amano is a parent-child communication advisor who has been giving lectures and writing books on the correct way for parents to talk to their children, with the hope that they will develop a sense of self-affirmation. Ms. Amano, who endorses the purpose of the "Talent Homecoming Challenge," sent us a message in support of this campaign.

Hikari Amano

We believe that words nurture children. What kind of conversations do you have with your children every day?
For the past 20 years, the number one question that has remained unchanged is "How can I get my child to listen to me? We have told them many times that they should study and that they will be in trouble in the future if they don't do as we say, but they still don't listen to us.

But the ability to do as we say is no longer a match for AI (robots). From now on, it is not the child who does what you say,
It is important to develop the ability to think, judge and act on one's own.
The most important thing that parents can do is to nurture a sense of self-esteem, which is the foundation for such a sense of self-esteem.

Self-affirmation is a strong "I am who I am and I will be fine," a recognition of strengths as well as areas that may be considered weaknesses. Self-affirmation is developed by looking at the child carefully, discovering his/her talents, and drawing out his/her thoughts and feelings. Words that acknowledge your child as he or she is, rather than words that give instructions or tell him or her what not to do.
Please do not hesitate to tell us!
We encourage mothers and fathers to try the RISU campaign.
Your child's facial expression will change and his/her behavior will change! I would like all people to know this excitement.

HugKum

My child is a genius! My child is a genius! Everyone who is raising a child has probably had such moments of surprise and excitement at least once in his or her life. The growth potential of children to be able to do things they could not do yesterday, and the novel ideas they come up with because they are not steeped in conventional wisdom. These are things that we adults used to have, and they should be "talents" given to all of us from "heaven. Through child-rearing, we can all rediscover the "wonders of being human" that we all possess. and if parents and children can nurture and develop each other's potential.... That is our wish at HugKum. Let's praise our children's talents and let's praise them!

Bunkyo-sha

Unko Kanji Drill" released by Bunkyosha in 2017 has been supported by many children and people of child-rearing age, and currently the total number of copies of the Unko Drill series has exceeded 10 million, establishing it as a new standard for study drills. We are very pleased to cooperate with this event, which shares the same objective of "communicating difficult and psychologically challenging content in a fun and easy-to-understand way.

Berlitz (company)

Throughout its 145-year history since its founding in the United States, Berlitz has helped children around the world learn English and foreign languages. In the midst of rapid globalization, children are expected to continue to challenge themselves, free from conventional wisdom. We want to support the growth and talents of these children together! We have decided to sponsor this campaign because we want to support the growth and talent of these children together. We hope that this campaign will provide an opportunity for children to rediscover their special skills and broaden their horizons to new fields of study.
We look forward to seeing many of your talented submissions for the "Greetings in English" award.
