(Shinagawa, Tokyo; President: Toru Goromaru), a group company of Gakken Holdings (Shinagawa, Tokyo; President: Hiroaki Miyahara), will hold an event for parents and children using the AI illustrated book application " The event will be held at Mt. Takao (Hachioji, Tokyo) from July 23, 2023 (Sun.) to August 31, 2023 (Thu.). Both the application download and event participation are free of charge.

AI illustrated book application "Nanikorens" allows you to quickly find out the names and characteristics of living creatures by simply taking a picture of the creature. (The app is free to download, but functionality restrictions can be removed by separately registering for a GakkenID.) NANIKOLENS" can identify about 2,400 species of flowers and creatures, each with accurate information taken from Gakken's illustrated book, an application that connects curiosity to learning.

How to participate
1. Obtain the worksheet for the event.
Location: Flyer rack next to TAKAO 599 MUSEUM information, and racks inside Takaoyamaguchi Station

2. Install NANIKOLENS (free application).
3. Take the worksheet and the app and walk around Mt.
Find at least 4.5 different types of flowers and living things and photograph them with a NANIKO lens.
5. Get a participation prize at TAKAO 599 MUSEUM! Answer the questionnaire and participate in the drawing for luxury prizes!
*Flowers and creatures of five or more species are also eligible for beetles from Mt. Takao or the TAKAO 599 MUSEUM mini exhibition "A Wide Variety of Beetles Living on Mt. Takao" (open July 21 (Fri.) to September 20 (Wed.), 2023).

In conjunction with the summer vacation, "Nanikorens" and TAKAO 599 MUSEUM will hold a joint event "Let's make a summer mountain picture book at Mt. Takao" will be held in conjunction with the summer vacation.
Mt. Takao is famous as a popular tourist destination because of its easy accessibility, located approximately one hour by train from central Tokyo. Keio Dentetsu Co., Ltd. also offers "Kodomo to Issho Wari Seat reservation ticket" for paid seat reservation trains during summer vacation only. The ticket includes two seats for an adult and a child, and is priced at 500 yen for the seat reservation fee.
Takao with your children, you can spend a relaxing and comfortable time both going and returning on the Mt. (Sales dates: Saturdays and holidays from July 22 (Sat.) to August 27 (Sun.), 2023 [13 days]) Furthermore, the mountain is equipped with cable cars and lifts, and visitors can choose climbing courses of different difficulty levels, making it possible for the whole family to enjoy the trip.
