Programming materials (for kindergartens, preschools, and tutoring schools) that can be taught even by inexperienced programmers: total of 36 lessons for 3 years, 15 sets of test questions, and a teacher's guide
- The following is content from the press release -
On July 24, 2023, KIDSPRO, a kids' programming school, launched an English version of its eJr Programming, which provides programming instruction even to inexperienced students. With lesson videos with English synthesized voices by the programming robot KIDSPRO, children can learn programming and presentation of games and digital picture books, while learning English at the same time.
Exposure to the natural rhythm, intonation, and pronunciation of English from an early age has a positive impact on future English acquisition. An environment in which students have to listen to English for the purpose of creating games, digital picture books, etc. will have a more positive impact on English acquisition.
Features and Benefits
The English version of eJr Programming is an educational material that can be used to teach programming even to inexperienced programmers. By projecting the lesson videos on a monitor or projector, children can program games and digital picture books by themselves and present their creations.
Instructors only need to support children's learning, and no programming skills or experience are required. In addition, there is a teacher's guide for each lesson video, which allows the instructor to refer to information necessary for instruction, such as "How to proceed with the lesson" and "ScratchJr to be created in each lesson".
The material consists of 36 lessons (total 1200 minutes), 15 sets of test questions (total 120 questions) and their explanations, and 3 years worth of contents including 36 teacher's guides. The price is set at 5,000 yen/month/classroom, which is affordable even for individuals.

Learn programming well in a fun way.
*There are many programming materials for young children that will attract their interest, but not many that allow them to learn the basic concepts of programming in depth. eJr Programming allows children to learn the basics of programming while having fun creating games, digital picture books, and other programming activities. In eJr Programming, children can learn the basics of programming such as "events," "control (repetition)," "messaging," "conditional branching," "serial and parallel processing," etc., while having fun programming games and digital picture books.
