Connected Industries Corporation (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaki Sonoda), provider of the "Azukaruko-chan" sick child care support system, has changed its company name to Good Button Inc. as of July 1, 2023. In conjunction with this change, the company has established a corporate mission and completely renewed its corporate website.

Toward a Society that Can Say Welcome to Diverse Child Rearing
In 2020, we released Azukaruko-chan as a service to support the sick child care business from the three sides of parents, facilities, and local governments.
We have renewed our vision, mission, and values in conjunction with this corporate name change, with a view to providing comprehensive support not only in this business, but also in areas related to "giving birth," "raising children," and "nurturing.
Vision: Toward a society that welcomes each child-rearing.
In a society where the diversity of people's ways of being is being reaffirmed, there are many different ways to raise children as well. That is why we want to create a society in which we can say "welcome" whenever information and support are needed or will be needed. That is what we at Good Baton believe.
Mission: To respect the person's way of being and to encourage them to have many choices in "giving birth", "raising children", and "nurturing".
We believe that in order to realize our vision, it is important to take a comprehensive view of not only the birth and nurturing of children, but also their upbringing and the continuation to the next generation, and to respect each and every person who lives there. We must seek a form that is neither forced nor neglected, but just right. What we have developed at Azukaruko-chan is an approach that does not aim only to increase value as an independent service, but also to improve society as a whole in cooperation with related parties. Therefore, we have also established the following guidelines for action in carrying out our mission.

The team behind Good Baton's challenge includes medical professionals, people with childcare experience, product and communication designers, and developers. We believe that innovation can only come from a group of professionals who have a medical perspective, a field perspective of childbirth and childcare, and a design perspective.

The company name "Good Baton" reflects our desire to be a baton that smoothly connects all the supports, people, and generations related to "giving birth," "raising," and "nurturing" in carrying out the mission we have set forth. We want to create a society in which each child and each caregiver can live in peace, and in which society welcomes the birth and upbringing of children. We hope to create such a society.

Masaki Sonoda
Born in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture. Graduated from Saga University School of Medicine. Doctor for 15 years (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Tokyo). In April 2020, he released "Azukaruko-chan," a childcare support system for sick children. In addition to his business, he also engages in research on sick child care.

Parents can easily search for and reserve a sick child daycare center anytime via LINE or the Web. In addition, municipalities that introduce this service will be able to centrally manage information on all sick child daycare facilities in the community, enabling sick child daycare services to be conducted in a three-way beneficial manner for not only parents but also sick child/post-ill child daycare facilities and the municipal government.
