Background of New Service Development
In a Pigeon survey of mothers with children aged 0-11 months, breastfeeding, sleep, and baby food were the top three childcare-related needs*1, and in an interview with Lullaby app users*2, breastfeeding, sleep, and baby food were the top three childcare-related needs. 1 In addition, in interviews with Lullaby app users*2, it became clear that while advice from senior mothers and family members is helpful, there is a need for "individual consultation with a specialist" because the ideas on the topics of breastfeeding, sleep, and baby food differ from family to family and it is difficult to consult with others.
With the cooperation of Pigeon, the two companies discussed and monitored the selection of consultants for individual consultations and the content of the service, and developed this new service.
