(CEO: Takayuki Rokutan) has released "AR COPY & PASTE IN MOTION," an application that allows users to copy and paste real-world movements into AR on LiDAR-equipped iOS devices.
By simply taking a picture with an iPhone or iPad equipped with a LiDAR scanner, you can easily generate 3D video data and place it freely on the AR space.
Application Overview
By simply taking a picture with an iPhone or iPad equipped with a LiDAR scanner, this application can easily generate 3D video data and place it freely in AR space.

The impetus for developing the app
Our company provides "Seikurabe," an AR-based application for recording children's growth.
https://seikura.be/
The development leader has two daughters, ages 6 and 2. I developed the application for my own use.
I like to take pictures of my daughter and have many pictures left, but it is difficult to realize how big she was back then with pictures. I came up with the idea of using AR technology to share with my daughter that she was small not long ago and that she is getting bigger and bigger, and to rejoice in her growth together.
(My oldest daughter was only three years old when we started development.)
We used the "Seikurabe" app to record her growth on a daily basis, but she often would not sit still when recording, so it was often difficult to take pictures.
For this reason, we began to consider capturing AR data on video.
This application is only a prototype of the functionality, and we plan to integrate it into the "Seikurabe" growth record application in the future, while resolving the technical issues described below.
Technical Specifications and Issues
Three-dimensional images are generated from the depth information of the space that can be acquired through the LiDAR scanner.
Currently, the resolution is low, but we are working on making it higher.
There are also technical challenges, such as large file sizes, time-consuming data storage, and the need for large free space for extended periods of time.
Related Services
We are developing other services that make AR easy to use.
We are developing the theme of AR data creation within the range that can be easily done with a smartphone, rather than AR data creation that involves special equipment or large-scale facilities.
# WebAR for Seikagurube
https://webar.seikura.be/
Web application that allows users to create WebAR data by uploading a photo of a person's entire body and specifying the height.
(A service that converts some of the functions of the "Seikurabe" application)

An application that allows you to copy and paste things into AR.
This also works only with iOS devices equipped with a LiDAR scanner.
