Purpose of the event

Camping, swimming, BBQs, and other outdoor events are in full swing as summer approaches. While these events are fun, families with children are concerned about the problem of lost children. Many of you may have had a near-miss experience when you took your eyes off your child for a moment and he or she disappeared from sight.
We planned this event to allow parents and children to experience the monitoring function of "Hamic MIELS," a next-generation smartphone for kids, while enjoying physical activity together before the summer season, when such situations tend to increase.

What is Hamic MIELS?

Hamic MIELS is a kids' smartphone that combines real and digital oversight.
In addition to being able to check your child's location and activity history at any time, such as after school, at cram school, or at play, you can also receive notifications when your child arrives at the "watch over spots "*1 you have set.

The Hamic MIELS terminals can watch over each other, and local residents who have installed the dedicated application can also watch over each other. In some municipalities, contact and transit information is also recorded at public facilities and local cabs, enabling the entire city to watch over children. 2
On the digital side, it is also possible to monitor children's conversations, set what content they can view on the Internet, and limit the amount of time they can spend on the Internet.

1 You can freely set up locations frequently used by children, such as schools and cram schools, as "Watching Spots.
2 Personal and location information is not known to the detected device or other users.

Product Features

Addresses the "dead battery problem" that is a concern for parents.
Hamic MIELS" addresses the problem of running out of battery power, which has been a common issue for many GPS devices and kids' smartphones. Even if the battery of the main device runs out, the device can determine its location based on the contact and transit information gathered as it continues to transmit weak radio waves for a certain period of time.

Transmits 20 seconds of recorded data along with GPS information when the security buzzer is activated.
Equipped with a security buzzer. In the event of an emergency, pulling the cord will sound a loud alarm to alert the surrounding area of danger and notify GPS information to the guardian's smartphone. In addition, to make it easier to determine whether a child has accidentally pulled the buzzer or whether it is an emergency, the system records the surroundings for 20 seconds upon activation and sends the data to the guardian's smartphone.

Adoption of the "iFace" smartphone case, which is popular among young people.
Hamee's own brand, "iFace", which has sold 25 million units worldwide, is used. By adopting the iFace, which is highly popular among young people, we were conscious of a design that even upper elementary school-aged children would want to use.
