Gakken and Tokai Rika develop developmental support digital teaching materials and exclusive stylus. Developing the ability to see, hear, speak, touch, read, and write, which are the foundation of Japanese language learning

- The following is content from the press release -

(Shinagawa, Tokyo; President: Toru Goromaru), a group company of Gakken Holdings (Shinagawa, Tokyo; President & CEO: Hiroaki Miyahara), has released "Hapuru-ne with me, touch, learn Mojibu and words", a developmental support digital teaching material developed in collaboration with Tokai Rika Co. (Headquarters: Oguchi-machi, Niwa-gun, Aichi, Japan; President: Hiromi Ninoyu), and the exclusive touch pen "Hapuru Pen".

The children can learn "letters and words" as an extension of sensory play!

As a "gateway to learning" for children who learn slowly and for children with various characteristics, these teaching materials can nurture the skills of seeing, listening, speaking, touching, reading, and writing, which are the foundation of Japanese language learning. The materials are designed to help children deepen their understanding through fun and easy-to-understand responses such as moving pictures, sounds, and vibrations in response to actions (touching, moving, writing, etc.) that children take when learning with the materials.
This is a new teaching material that goes beyond conventional printed materials. It supports learning by using various senses, such as sound and vibration, to assist learning.
*Vibration requires the use of a dedicated stylus.

Five learning areas, six steps, and approximately 450 rich learning activities can be tackled!

The five learning areas of Readiness (Cognitive Learning), Sen wo Kakaku, Hiragana wo Yomu, Hiragana Kakaku, and Words and Letters allow children to learn repeatedly while combining them according to their developmental stage.

The use of the dedicated "haplupen" pen enables more effective learning!

Using the "Haprun and I'll Touch and Learn Moji and Words" with the dedicated stylus "Haprun Pen" (sold separately) adds the sensation of vibration to the learning experience, making it even more enjoyable and effective.

The *Hapuru Pen is a new vibrating stylus that incorporates the latest haptics technology to provide a variety of tactile stimulation. Haptics technology is a technology that artificially creates and simulates the sense of touch.
Hapurun" and "Hapurpen" are registered trademarks of Tokai Rika Corporation.
