RISU Japan K.K. (Location: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomotaka Imaki) will begin offering a free English video lesson "RISU KITZ English" for children who use our tablet teaching material "RISU KITZ" from January 17 (Tuesday).
English education is being further strengthened with English subjects becoming compulsory in elementary schools starting in FY2020.
We have decided to develop this business in the hope that our students will enjoy learning English without having a sense of dislike for it, through "math x English" lessons, which are not available in other English lessons for kids.
At RISU Kikuzu English, each lesson lasts approximately 3 minutes and is taught by a native English-speaking teacher with a Japanese teacher as a guide.
There is also an AI voice-activated vocabulary lesson video, which we expect to hear more often in the future, and our characters Risuta and Risuko also appear here.
To realize our vision of "For the talents of the future," we will shine a light on talents that do not fit into the school framework and provide strong support for children who enjoy and challenge themselves.
■RISU KIZU English 3 points
- A fun way to become familiar with English.
Each lesson lasts approximately 3 minutes and is easy to follow, and the videos with animals and illustrations provide a fun way to experience English. - Japanese teacher with Japanese guide
Japanese teachers guide you in Japanese, so there is no "I don't know what I'm doing" because you are speaking only English. - Challenge what you've learned in math with English
RISU KIZU will deliver English videos according to the unit.
It is a great way to review math and also to be exposed to English as a written language. This is a math x English lesson not found in other English lessons for kids.
