The Association for the Promotion of ICT in Childcare (headquartered in Seiyo City, Ehime Prefecture; Fuyuma Miyoshi, Representative Director; hereinafter "the Association"), which holds seminars and disseminates information on ICT in childcare, will hold an online event "Childcare System Trade Fair" specializing in ICT systems for childcare.
Background and Concept
The childcare industry is currently engulfed in a whirlwind of major changes. The declining birthrate has resulted in a shortage of capacity, a chronic shortage of childcare workers, and a heavy burden of dealing with coronas that weigh heavily on daily operations. Society is demanding a rapid response to the many problems that have piled up. Under such circumstances, the need to improve operations through ICT is increasing day by day, but the reality is that many preschools are unable to take the plunge into ICT.
The Association routinely holds seminars and disseminates information to promote ICT.
More parksMaking ICT more accessible and encouraging ICT adoptionThis is a unique opportunity to hear directly about the "thoughts behind the system" and "the future vision we want to realize" that cannot be seen from the website or specifications alone.
On the day of the event, five high-profile system companies will be invited to talk about the differences in their functions and operating methods.
We believe that childcare ICT systems are "comrades working together to improve the quality of childcare. By getting along well with the system, let's build a future where not only children but also teachers can grow together.

What is ICT in Childcare?
The daycare industry still often handwrites or makes phone calls to plan and record daycare, communicate with parents on a daily basis, and manage children's arrival and departure from school.
Digitization of these processes through the use of systems and applications to improve operational efficiency is called childcare ICT.
Communication with children, parents, and staff, which we value, will be maintained.
The use of ICT to achieve the kind of childcare we want to do is now becoming more important.

From Fuyuma Miyoshi, Representative Director
I have been involved in the introduction and utilization of ICT while working as a nursery teacher at a nursery in Seiyo City, Ehime Prefecture, but the road to ICT is not a smooth one. This is something that I myself have keenly felt over the years as I have been involved in the introduction of ICT in many preschools while working as a nursery teacher.
We have therefore established the Association for the Promotion of ICT in Childcare to support teachers who are taking on the challenge of ICT, with the aim of creating an environment in which everyone involved in childcare can focus on childcare by reducing their workload through the use of ICT, and thereby ensuring and improving the quality of childcare.
We will continue to do our best to serve as a bridge between childcare providers and ICT systems.
We look forward to your participation.
