Babydoor will start "Share Buggy" stroller sharing service at two Enoshima Electric Railway stations, Fujisawa and Enoshima!

Share Buggy" stroller sharing service started in the Enoden area!

(Head office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Ami Nakagawa), which operates a baby equipment rental and sales service, and Enoshima Electric Railway Co. The company will begin full-scale operation of the "Share Buggy" stroller sharing service at Enoshima Electric Railway's Fujisawa and Enoshima stations on October 26, 2022 (Wednesday).

Started operation at Enoshima Electric Railway

Since April 2017, Babydoor Inc. has been offering a baby equipment rental and sales service that mainly handles high-brand international baby products ( http://babydoor.net/ ), which has been providing the following services.

Based on customer requests to borrow a stroller on the go and return it on the go, this service aims to reduce the amount of luggage required when going out by eliminating the need to bring a stroller, and to make it easier for people with children to take the train on outings.

■Functions of the ShareBuggy application

  1. Easy with the app! Stroller Rental
    You can go out with your children without bringing a stroller, and with just one app, you can rent a stroller at any place you like and return it freely to any place where ports are located.
  2. Map display function of nearby facilities for babies
    We provide information on facilities convenient for those with children, such as nursing rooms and kids' spaces.
    Facility information will be updated as needed.

■Outline of "Share Buggy" stroller sharing

You can go out with your child without bringing a stroller, and in the future you can borrow and return the stroller anywhere. You can use a baby carrier when you get on the train, use ShareBuggy after you get off the train, and return the special stroller at a nearby location after you have fully enjoyed your outing with your child.

Available hours are based on the installation location. *The available hours of use are in accordance with the location of the installation.

Description of operation: Strollers are rented out from dedicated ports (locations with boxes where strollers are stored) using the dedicated "ShareBuggy" application.

How to rent/return: Push the unlock button inside "ShareBuggy" to unlock the box and use the stroller. (The same method is used for returning the stroller.)

Fee (tax included): 220 yen for 1 hour / 550 yen for 3 hours / 880 yen for 6 hours
*If the usage time is exceeded, it will be automatically extended. (220 yen per hour)

■Cleaning management and infection control measures
ShareBuggy will take measures such as this cleaning to ensure that children can use their strollers safely and securely.

  • Cleaning management
    Strollers are sanitized and cleaned regularly by our staff for your peace of mind. In addition, we regularly inspect strollers in cooperation with Babydoor stores to ensure that there are no problems with the strollers.
  • Provision of simple cleaning kits
    A simple cleaning kit is provided with the stroller itself. Hypochlorous acid water, sanitizing sheets, and tissues are provided so that you can clean up any areas of concern by yourself.
  • Antimicrobial treatment of dedicated ports
    The dedicated port (the box in which the stroller is stored) is treated with an antimicrobial coating to prevent the adhesion of bacteria.
  • Response to dirt/failure
    If a stroller is found to be dirty or broken during use, please report it to us and we will not allow you to use the stroller until it has been cleaned and checked. In the unlikely event that a stroller is found to be dirty or broken at the start of use, it will be replaced with another stroller as soon as possible.
