Reduce the burden on caregivers and parents in cash collections
(Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yasuyuki Toki; hereinafter "Unifa"), a company that transforms childcare and society through technology, has released "Lukumi En Mall" to reduce the burden on childcare providers related to collecting payments from parents at childcare facilities, including sales of supplies and educational materials and collection of event fees. By completing the entire process from ordering to sales and payment online and accelerating the cashless system, the company aims to alleviate the issue of cash collections at childcare facilities and reduce the burden on parents.
Current status and issues of cash collection at childcare facilities
Childcare facilities often need to handle cash for purchases of goods and collection of event fees at times such as new enrollment, graduation season, seasonal events, and other occasions. Each time this happens, childcare workers are required to prepare order forms, collect and confirm payments from parents, manage cash, and handle other complicated and detailed tasks, placing a heavy burden on them. In addition, many parents are accustomed to cashless shopping, but they also have to prepare cash to avoid having to make change, making cash collection at childcare facilities a challenge for both parents and caregivers.
Features of the Lukmie Garden Mall
- Provides a one-stop service from park-specific order sales to payment functions
Childcare facilities can freely register supplies and items they wish to sell to parents, just like an e-commerce site, and parents can make cashless payments. - Eases the burden on childcare providers by greatly reducing the time and effort incurred in ordering and collecting money.
All order management, tallying, cash collection, and confirmation responses to parents who have not yet purchased or not paid, which were previously done in analog form, are now done digitally. In addition, the system reduces the physical and psychological burden on childcare providers by providing a full range of functions that meet the needs of childcare facilities, including unique functions to prevent ordering errors by parents, such as setting sales periods and mandatory purchase functions, and automatic notification functions at the start of sales and for those who have not yet purchased. - Cashless System Reduces Cash Handling at Childcare Facilities to Zero
Parents can choose between credit card and convenience store payment, and order forms and receipts can be easily issued in the system.
