Participant's Voice
In the post-survey,93%From the participants of theI want/need them to participate next time."We have received responses. Below are some of the feedback we received.
<Parent of a boy in grade 3.
I think we were able to hear about various genres of work in a well-paced 15 minute segment. Thank you very much. The venue was very well designed and the detailed explanations were great.
<Parent of a 5th grade girl.
It was good to hear stories that I don't get to hear everyday. I would have liked to hear from all of them, as they were from diverse professions.
<Parent of a 4th grade girl.
It was a great opportunity to learn about a variety of professions that I had never heard of before, or that I did not know about in detail, including the details of their work.
About the Super Daddy Association, a non-profit organization
<Message from Kazuaki Takahashi, Chairman of the Board of Directors
The children's reactions gave me confidence in my work."
The seven fathers (dentist, pilot, magical scientist, chef, occupational therapist, board game creator, and TV producer) from the Super Daddy Association (hereafter SDA), a non-profit organization I preside over, were all talking.
It was a meaningful festival because one of the goals of the festival is to "raise everyone's children with all the fathers. Icons of a wide variety of children appeared in front of a wide variety of fathers. When I spoke passionately about my work, the children who participated contributed a variety of reactions and opinions. 'How can you become one?' How can I become one?", "It's too amazing", "I want to hear more about it". The children's passionate contributions were unintentionally raising the tension in the audience. The three hours of positive communication with the children from all over Japan was too short.
I am confident that the children who experienced this event will have a sense of purpose for the future and cherish every day of their lives. We hope to speak with more children at SOZOW Fest in the future.
<What is the Super Daddy Association? >
This is a gathering by fathers for fathers that promotes fathers' active participation in child rearing. The members think about how to raise children more densely in the limited time they have outside of work, and then implement the ideas. The following events are organized by fathers: "Ohana Juku (flower arrangement school) for all fathers," "Fathers and children participate together! The group also holds unique events such as the "Nonin Running School," "Married Couple Fight Symposium," and "Yuru Kajo Fest," to promote fathers' child-rearing activities.

About the Power Mom Project
<Message from Hiromu Shibata, Representative Director
We were introduced to the SOZOW festival by the Super Daddy Association. When I actually met Mr. Kosukegawa and Mr. Inoue, the representatives, and heard their passionate stories about the origins of SOZOW, the children, and their vision for the festival, I was very excited and wanted to help in any way I could!
On the occasion of the festival, we invited moms and dads that we know from the Power Mom Project to serve as speakers. The event brought together professionals from various fields of work that even I, as an adult, wanted to hear what they had to say.
On the day of the event, I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the participants and the excitement on the part of the speakers, as well as the enjoyment of all the children and adults in the audience. I am happy to have been involved in such a wonderful event.
I also realized that SOZOW will grow significantly as a place for children to expand their potential in the future, as the form of study and learning changes drastically from what it has been in the past.
<What is the Power Mom Project? > >
The "Power Mom Project" is a project to share role models of working moms (working moms) to inspire the vitality of tomorrow. We are working to increase the number of happy mothers who can work and raise children in their own way.

Thoughts on the event
Schools tend to be less connected to the real world. With the exception of parents and teachers, there are probably very few points of contact between children and adults.
We have created a stir in this situation,We want to create opportunities for children to learn about various worlds while interacting with adults in a safe and secure environment. We started planning the "SOZOW Festival" with this in mind. It is with this in mind that we began planning the "SOZOW Fest".
In the midst of our trial and error process toward realization, we told this concept to the NPO Super Daddy Association and the Power Mom Project, and they graciously expressed their willingness to cooperate with us.
We would like to thank the two organizations for their cooperation in making the event a success despite this being our first attempt. Thank you very much.
Hearing the feedback from the children, we realize that the adults who spoke at the event were indeed able to convey the excitement and fun of shigoto to the children.
We are now planning the second and subsequent events to bring this kind of opportunity to more children, so please stay tuned for more information!
