Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yoshinori Koike), which provides the ICT system "CoDMON" to support the daily life of teachers working in childcare facilities such as nursery schools, kindergartens (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yoshinori Koike), a provider of napping sensors, is pleased to announce that it will be collaborating with EMC Healthcare Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Hitoshi Date), a provider of the Baby Moni system, from the end of May 2021. The new system will enable Kodomon to manage the results of napping checks automatically collected by Baby Moni, further reducing the administrative burden on nursery staff. With this new linkage with the camera-based Bebimoni, facilities using Codomon will be able to choose the most suitable form of nap sensor from the mat-based "hugsafety" (hugmo Co., Ltd.), wearable "cocolin" (Kimuratan Co., Ltd.), and camera-based "Bebimoni", depending on the purpose and environment. You will be able to choose the most suitable form of sleep sensor from the following

During nap time, when children are napping, serious accidents such as suffocation due to prone sleeping can occur. In order to reduce the mental and physical strain on the nursery staff, Codomon has developed a new system called "Bebimoni" which analyzes the video images from the ceiling to monitor the children's posture. Baby Moni is a non-contact system, so there is no need for daily management of the device, no need to prepare and clean up, and it can flexibly respond to changes in the number of children. By increasing the number of options for checking naps in Kodomon, the daily operations of each facility can be better optimized and more time can be spent on improving the quality of childcare.

Comments from preschools that have actually used the automatic integration of Codomon and BabyMonitor

  • The automatic recording of Baby Moni's noon sleep data in Codomon reduces workload and makes it much easier to use.
  • The fact that we can go paperless is very helpful as we don't have to keep a paper record as a noon check. Furthermore, I have the peace of mind that the data will be managed in the cloud on the Codomon side.
