Mums and dads who spend too much time trying to get their children to sleep and are exhausted every night, or who are constantly woken up by crying, need to look no further!

Moon Creative Lab (Palo Alto, California/Tokyo, hereinafter "Moon"), a company that creates new businesses from the ideas of more than 44,000 employees and organizations around the world, is pleased to announce the April 2021 release of "Lullaby", an app that helps infants cry at night and puts them to sleep. (Lullaby), an app that helps infants cry at night and sleep.

What is Lullaby?

Lullaby is an app service that provides comprehensive support for mothers and fathers who are struggling with their infants' night-time crying and sleep training.
Based on sleep-related data for each baby, the service delivers an 'Adaptive Napping Schedule' that suggests the optimum time for sleeping according to the baby's daily schedule, as well as 'Napping Lectures', information carefully selected by doctors. In addition, we have developed the Nenne Consult, a matching platform that allows direct consultation with paediatric sleep consultants who have expertise in infant sleep, with just one click.
The application was developed with Mariko Morita, a doctor and mother of two who graduated from the University of Tokyo, as the supervising doctor, and is based on scientifically based data.

What is Sleep Training?

In Japan, babies' crying at night and the difficulty of putting them to sleep are considered 'unavoidable' and 'something to be endured', and concrete solutions have not been well known.
However, in many cases, babies from six months onwards can sleep through the night if their nen-en schedule and sleep environment is improved, or can self-nest, which enables them to fall asleep on their own. Sleep training has been practised in many countries, including the USA, France and the UK, for many years, and has been linked to improved sleep deprivation and physical and mental health for mothers and fathers as well as babies.
Sleep training is a lifelong skill that can improve the quality of sleep not only for babies, but also for mothers and fathers. In addition, the benefits of improving napping have been proven in numerous studies.

Adaptive sleep schedule" to suit each baby's development

Each day you will receive an "Adaptive Bedtime Schedule" that matches your baby's growth and daily schedule. Even if you can't get your baby to sleep according to the schedule recommended by the app, you can record the actual bedtime in the app and it will automatically tell you the best bedtime schedule for your baby at that time.

The "Napping Course" delivers carefully selected knowledge and information supervised by doctors and midwives.

In a world where we can gather all sorts of information, Lullaby is proud to present a series of scientific-based "sleep courses" by experienced paediatric sleep consultants, doctors and midwives. We offer a wide range of useful information, including how to prepare your baby's nursery environment, how to breastfeed and breastfeed your baby, tips for mums returning to work, and advice on how to get your baby to sleep from 3 years old upwards.

Bedtime consultation" with an expert paediatric sleep consultant

We want to create a world where as many mothers and fathers as possible can sleep soundly with their babies. In order to spread science-based knowledge about napping, we have started a course to qualify as a Consultant of Infant Sleep Association (CISA). For mothers and fathers who want to talk to someone or have a quick chat, we have a matching function on the app called "Nenne Consultation" which allows you to talk directly to a pediatric sleep consultant.
